The art of closing is one of the most important skills you need to master if you want to increase sales

How to Close and Get Your Prospects to Buy


Close With Confidence

The MOST important aspect of closing is CONFIDENCE

You must be confident when you ask them to join or buy.

People like to follow and buy from confident people.

Would you trust a restaurant server if you asked them what’s the best dish and they didn’t answer confidently?

How you say something is just as important as what you say.

One of the quickest ways to get better is to record yourself in your presentation and then listen to how you sound during the close.

If you’re currently struggling to close, chances are you don’t sound confident.

Ask Open Ended Questions and Get Your Prospects to Convince Themselves

Instead of telling prospects what they should do or why they need our products or services, we can guide them to convince themselves by asking certain questions.

Here are some examples of how to use questions to close your prospects

Example 1

Instead of saying “This business will help you spend more time with your family”

When you say that, they don’t believe you because you’re saying it and they know you’re trying to sell them.

Instead, ask them,

“How will this business help you spend more time with your family”

When the prospect answers this question, they will convince themselves and also has ownership in that decision.

Instead of making them feel you convinced them, they will feel that they came to the conclusion themselves.

If you’re not confident, no one will buy nor join you


End Your Presentation with an Inspiring Story


Another important part is to understand that prospects get excited

and then disappointed in your presentation.

They get excited when they see the opportunity and how their dream can be a possibility

but at same time

they get DISAPPOINTED once the see that it requires money to join

That’s why it’s so important to end your presentation with a testimonial and inspiring story

this will help the prospect forget the disappointment and get them to start thinking about their dream again

Use emotional stories to get them to take action
