3-City Speaking Tour in Australia
I’m in the middle of a 3-city, 12-day tour of Australia where I will be conducting network marketing training events and business presentations.
It’s my second time in Australia, and I’m having a fantastic time here.
I just arrived in Perth today after an exciting three days in Melbourne. My schedule was packed with meetings and speaking engagements, but I really enjoyed my time there.
What made it so great were the unique individuals that I got to spend time training. I just love working with entrepreneurs who are hungry and dedicated to creating success in their future.
I will write more and have pictures of my entire trip after I get back to the USA, but one thing that stood out was how coachable the people I taught in Melbourne were. (I’ll share with you next week about my time in Perth and Sydney.)
A Teacher’s Ultimate Satisfaction
I really enjoy training and mentoring, and those were some of the reasons I decided to start a MLM business over ten years ago.
What makes teaching especially rewarding for me is when I get to see how my students have grown, not just in business, but as a people.
This Melbourne trip was the first time I got to meet face-to-face with many of the Mastermind members that I’ve been coaching for the past eight months.
I’m so proud of how they have grown in such a short time. I could see in their eyes how happy they were with their own personal growth.
Having a Fresh and Open Mind
Most of my Mastermind members had no skills and were shy and quiet when I first worked with them.
They had their challenges and struggles; you may have doubted they would become successful if you had met them initially. However, they were able to overcome many obstacles and achieved many successes.
How did they do it?
The main reason many of my Mastermind members have grown so much is that they have an open mind.
They don’t bring the mental or emotional baggage that the game of Life has given them.
They come in fresh, and most importantly, they are coachable.
They don’t say, “This is how I am,” nor do they say, “That is what happened to me.”
They don’t let their experiences and failures in the past hold them back.
I’ve come to learn that our attitude is the biggest obstacle for our success. It prevents us from fulfilling our potential.
We must realize that we must CHANGE and adopt new attitudes and perceptions in order for our results to change.
In order for any part of our life to change, we must change. We must let go of our previous beliefs.

As you go through the magazine, pay attention to the mindset and attitude that it takes to become successful.
The Beliefs That Drag You Down
So do you have any mental baggage that holds you back?
How willing are you to accept change? Are you willing to learn new things?
By the way, a simple test to see if you really are open to change is when your mentor teaches you something new. Do you accept it, or are you using the word “but?”
For example, if you are saying to yourself, “…But this doesn’t work that way,”
or
“But I’m not like that,”
or
“But I’ve tried that before,”
or most dangerously,
“But I don’t think that will work.”
The last one is MOST DANGEROUS because it is our thinking that needs to change.
We MUST CHANGE in order to get better!
So what things do you need to change in order to get better?
What past experiences or failures are holding you back?
Go make a list of things you must give up and start making those changes today because unless you get rid of the old, you won’t have room for the new.
