The SMART way to handle close minded people is NOT to waste your valuable time to convince them.

It’s a lose lose situation

because

1 ) No matter what you say, these people will never join.

They will never let you “win the fight” and agree you’re right and they’re wrong

2 ) They suck up your time and energy

3 ) You miss out on opportunities to find the good people

There is a time to convince though…

but if someone is not interested immediately from the start,

it’s best to move on.

Remember that your MOST valuable asset is TIME!

And that TIME needs to be spent on THE DMO and finding the people that want it.

If you want to be successful,

you don’t need to change the whole world.

My late mentor, Zig Ziglar taught me that:

“If you help enough people get what they want in life, you’ll get everything you want in life.”

The key word is ENOUGH people

you don’t need to help the whole world

Just “enough” people and you’ll get everything you want

so stop worrying about others will think

→ and focus on just helping someone and be a person of value today.
